Are You A One Gun Shooter?

TIP 1.

What does it take to score a magic ‘one shot’ kill again and again when hunting? 2 things.

The first is understanding where the heart, lungs and major blood vessels are in the animal you intend hunting. If you know the location of such vital organs, then you know where to aim, at any angle the animal presents itself.

The second is marksmanship. This takes practice, practice and more practice – enough to consistently hit the vital organs every time from any angle. Steady practice, year-round, every year.

Remember, no amount of money will buy a gun that will kill humanely in unskilled or unknowing hands.

TIP 2.

Beware the one gun shooter!

We have heard this time and time again.

Total familiarity with shooting one gun and in-depth knowledge of how the chosen load performs in that gun is the most important elements of successful shooting – period.

Use a rifle and calibre you feel 100% comfortable using and learn to hit a 10 inch vital zone at 100, 200, 300 yards in a variety of shooting positions.
